Never Buying From Russia Again

For those, like me, who can't read Russian, the last update says it has been shipped out of Russia. After a month, no updates to the tracking number, not parcel on my door step. Should have looked harder on eBay for this thing. I never have a problem buying things off eBay.

sigh.

I redid the test, and got my manual licence. Fun times ahead.

You Fail At Manual

Last year when I went for my Ps test, I was given no choice but to take it in a car with an automatic transmission, as our household has always owned cars without a stick shift (oh how American of me).



So naturally, when I went I to buy a car it had to be a manual - I'm that kind of guy. Even more naturally, when the moment called for me to move my "new" manual car out of the driveway and into the garage, I couldn't. I count about 3 stalls from my three point turn.



My incompetence to grasp the skill of a manual transmission struck hard in my heart, so much so, that I had to dream about it. Then again, it was a dream, and dreams more often then not, are full of lies and false hope. So in my dream, I was driving around my neighbourhood effortlessly in my "new" old car, and me being me, I couldn't help but hoon a little. As I made a turn, the car choose to spin out of control...and kept spinning, around and around and around and around and around and around...

Then I woke up and I realised, in reality, I still suck.

Dream Time

Recently SOMEONE keeps mentioning that I'm ronery and how I must be so ronery living alone. Well I guess those words must have followed me to bed.



This house is huge. Slowly people have begun to leave, and with them inanimate possession follow. It is only
now that I've started to realise how empty this house is becoming - it's lacking things to hold.



Now it's time to stop mopping inside these white walls and make my way outdoors to find things that would be more than happy to call this place their humble pie home.

It's official, I'm a fanboy. So Nyuh Shi Dae's second album just landed in my mail box, and all I can say is, YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAHH!

...overly cheerful, overly cheesy, and over produced. I couldn't tell one girl from the other. Their sheer numbers freaked me out. I couldn't stand the cutesy mannerisms, no matter how catchy the songs were.

But, over time, I've definitely come to be a defender--maybe even fan--of GG. Maybe it happened just because I was bored and wanted to push buttons...

It was fun trolling/defending Tiffany, who was the centre of a lot of anti-fan hate, but by doing so I've turned myself into a fan. Oh look, my belt was made in Spain, cool.

Argh I Got A Hair Cut

Now I'm a 12 year old kid again.

Apologies for being so far behind my updates on my mini-365 project, it's just that I've been using film for the past two weeks and haven't been bothered getting my arse down to a lab to get the rolls developed. Sooo, hopefully I'll be able to visit Vanbar tomorrow and pick them up on Tuesday (which is also when I get my haircut) - fingers crossed.

I have no idea who in Melbourne reads this stuff, whom I don't already know, but, if anyone is free this Tuesday come along to the Melb Aquarium at 2pm :]

I hope everyone had a fun and eventful 2009, filled with no regrets and plenty of memories. As a wise character once said, "...life's simple, you make choices and you don't look back," deep huh?

2009 ended differently than I thought it would have, but it was a change, and change can be good, so I'm going to keep thinking about that rather than being depressed on how I'll be "celebrating" two decades of my life in 6 months time. Woo hoo~
